Review of Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001) by Bobbi G — 24 Jul 2008
This is the definition of rock opera. The score is brilliant-Stephen Trask is an unsung hero. The effortless honesty of Mitchell, Pitt, and even Andrea Martin, makes for a tender, compelling, audacious, and totally innovative journey.
It's a movie about a rock star from East Berlin whose identity went missing when their sexuality was questioned- that's heart breaking awesome.
