If you need a little something to cleanse your palette from the usual Hollywood offerings (including some of this year's Oscar-favorites), find and enjoy this movie.
I read a review that called it a cult classic that could be the next "Rocky Horror Picture Show". I think that's overstating it a bit, but it does have elements of that - as well as "Pink Floyd's The Wall" and "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" (which if you haven't seen, I highly recommend as well).
This is solid and unique storytelling of a unique story.
