Review of Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001) by Zoran S — 09 Jun 2011
I'm sort of limited in my knowledge of musicals, but I can say undoubtedly that the music in this gem is GOLDEN. If you love the Stones, Queen, David Bowie, etc - this is, in many ways, a tribute to their sound, theatrics and, ultimately, their influence on rock and roll.
The story itself is bizarre, which works in its favor, allowing for some brilliant animation sequences and humorous coincidences. Go into it with an open mind and that mind will surely be blown.
