This is a musical made into a movie about a transgendered man/woman from eastberlin who underwent a botched sex change so he/she could marry and escape east Germany. The movie takes you through musical numbers performed in diners and dive bars that recount his life.
The music in ths film was great and the movie itself was bizarre and moving.
