Review of Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001) by Brock S — 30 Sep 2009
Utterly original and entertaining rock musical that deals beautifully (and comically) with such themes as the duality of man and the fall of the Berlin Wall, among others. The songs are surprisingly well written and strong, and could probably even stand on their own.
Well... then again, maybe the world at large isn't ready for a single which begins, "My sex change operation was botched!".
