One day I was trying to choose my favorite transsexual rock opera. Naturally, I was debating between this and Rocky Horror Picture Show, but I decided to pick Hedwig in the end because the story is much better.
Rocky has better music, but Hedwig's twisted tale of strife and heartbreak will have you weeping by the time the credits roll. On the contrary, Rocky Horror just leaves you feeling raped and scandalized.
