Review of Hector and the Search for Happiness (2014) by David G — 03 Oct 2014
I'm going to go against the tide on this one and call it pretty good. It's a flawed work on balance but is very effective in spots. I'm afraid this one falls into the dead zone where it's too arty for the mainstream and too saccharine in it's execution for the art crowd.
I believe the most important thing I learned here was that I love Rosamund Pike, whom I was not really familiar with before.
