Review of Hector and the Search for Happiness (2014) by Andy G — 25 Jul 2015
Very similar to last year's The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013), Hector and the Search for Happiness tells the story of an unsatisfied psychiatrist who goes on a globe trotting tour to find out what makes people happy.
He meets all sorts of people and their views on happiness, and gets into some crazy adventures. Despite having a sluggish pace and a running time of two hours, the movie has solid themes and performances throughout, for a decent film about mental health.
