Review of Heckler (2007) by Jason D — 13 Sep 2008
Heckler is a true eye-opener about the trials and tribulations that Comedians, or celebrities in general, suffer through in the form of nobodies getting under their skins and trying to take them down a notch.
The hecklers and their mythology are really fleshed out in this film and you get to see just how effective their nonsensical words and thoughts can really have an effect on people. Everything is tightly woven by documentary moderator Jamie Kennedy (who no doubt should earn some respect by the many people who can't seem to stand him), who manages to be fun, engaging, and informative on these so called critics.
I'll admit, sometimes, I just rip into someones shit in these little review boxes, but it's never without reasons why and not just be being a dipshit for the sake of being one, although, I will admit, I take great joy in tearing down fake celebrities that don't even deserve anything, like Paris Hilton, etc.
Good, informative film that every "critic" should watch.
