Review of Heavy Traffic (1973) by Mistah P — 26 Feb 2012
I'll start with a warning - this is for those with tough stomachs. You'll get a gratituous amount of nudity mostly, but also a good share of violence, drugs, and stuff like that. Read: this is NOT an animation for kids, nor is it innocent AT ALL.
But... for those who can get past that (like me), it's quite an intriguing experience. Carole is a complete BADASS, and her relationship with Michael throughout the film is memorable, to say the least. Plus, the "animation" itself is completely unique, and the imagery is great. Plus, the adventures of Michael and his parents are generally enjoyable to begin with.
To sum it up, it's worth watching if you can get around the raunchiness.
