Review of Heavy Metal (1981) by David E — 24 Dec 2008
I'm sure it's a classic for people 10-15 years older than me, but for me it's fairly unappealing. There's some imaginative stuff, and it's neat how the stories connect with the ball yet are so different.
I bet some kind of anime take on this with electronic music would be really cool. This is just before my time, and is rather cheesy with the naked chicks in every story, and young men becoming superheroes.
The target audience seems to be boys born between 1964-1971.
