Review of Heavy Metal (1981) by Nikolaj Z — 15 Jan 2010
For the most part, this is a cool movie to watch; awesome-retro animation with a rockin' soundtrack and plenty of nudity and violence to entertain. My gripe with the film, however, is that it's more laid-back and relaxing then it is in-your-face or kick-ass; which may work for people who are "cheesing" it.
This is a film that slowly grows on you.
