Absolutely fantastic film, and to be honest I don't think the animation looks dated. It harks back to when animation was at it's best. Reminds you of Thundercats and all the other 80's classics.
Plus a brilliant soundtrack and some of the coolest visuals mixed with a good sci-fi mix. Reccomended!
