Review of Heaven's Gate (1980) by Naische F — 26 Feb 2008
Sure we all know the backstories of this one, but it's not that bad if you are patient enough with it. I enjoyed the epic scope of the production like the old films. But I must disagree with Kristofferson as the lead.
Walken had some great turns, as did an early Jeff Bridges and Mikey Rourke! The last battle was engaging. This one just had the bad luck to be out at the wrong time, or else it could've been a contender!
