I honestly can't tell if everything I loved about this was intentional, but it was damned entertaining! One of the stranger films Jackson has made, watching this makes The Lovely Bones that much more disappointing.
Incredibly melodramatic, with bursts of both fantasy and violence, and moments that (while historically accurate) seem bizarre by today's standards, Heavenly Creatures is a film you're just going to have to see for yourself. Screw Leo and Kate, I want to see Lynskey and Winslet team up again!
