I love you Peter Jackson (and wife). I would love to see this script (which I just found out had been nominated that year for the best original screenplay Oscar, lost to Pulp Fiction). I want to see the behind the scenes footage that involves the camerawork throughout this movie.

I wonder if there is any out there? Because there are some stunning movements that I would love to see how they filmed and the transitions are something to be learned from as well. And the acting! Melanie Lynskey and Kate Winslet are amazing in this.

The interaction between all the characters (especially between Lynskey and Winslet) is terrific. Some of the sequences in the movie are incredible. I keep wondering how they went about filming some of the sequences.

Talk about some camera work, this movie is filled with some amazing camerawork. One of the things that really did stick out to me. Along with setting, scene, and design. The story is fascinating as well.

One of the driving factors of the movie. Ah, so this true story occurred in New Zealand (where Jackson and wife are from). No wonder they chose this story! It was close to home. Fascinating story, especially what happened after the one main event was said and done.

This ranks up there with my favorite Peter Jackson movies. Right along side The Lord of the Rings trilogy. (even though it's brutally different from that series, but yeah, I liked it just as much).
