Wow. Such a dark and disturbing subject matter but portrayed in such a lighthearted, beautiful and compelling way. Peter Jackson outdid himself way before Lord of the Rings. Wonderfully acted, scripted, directed and produced, brilliant film.
I don't know how much of it is based on actual truth but it's done so well that I don't think it matters. Jackson captured eveything perfectly, especially the '50's feel. A real must see!
