Besides the little boy seeing heaven and telling his parents about it, nothing much happens in this story based on the best-selling book. Even the religious aspects are played down as if the filmmakers were scared to go there. Greg Kinnear's performance is solid. If only he was given an actual story, the film would have been a lot more interesting.
