Review of Heaven Is for Real (2014) by Heather M — 21 Jul 2014

At first, I would like to state that I am a Christian Orthodox and have a deep faith in my religion. Sometimes I have my personal doubts and questions since I am only human but my faith is deeply rooted inside of me. I granted this movie with three stars because it was easy going with nice photography and in general I found it to be a soothing picture. Since it is a hollywoodian production I expected the movie moving towards extremeties but fortunately this never happened. A simple story was narrated through this movie and the director never steared away from this concept. What I would expected to see and wanted it to be analyZed even deeper was what the child experienced per se and not what his parents went through because of the child's experience.

However the movie is rather good, peaceful, soothing with some good messages in it so I recommend it to those who enjoy watching this type of movies.
