Review of Heaven Is for Real (2014) by Peter B — 21 Dec 2014

"Faith-based" movies are usually awful, requiring audiences to forgive weak scripts, bad acting and cheap production values. This one however is really well made, with much of the credit going to the solid work of Greg Kinnear.

In terms of subject matter the movie is mostly preaching to the choir, though I did like that it had a little room for debate. Overall it's just a decent film but it's encouraging that the makers of these type of films are stepping up their game.
