Review of Heaven Is for Real (2014) by James C — 11 Jan 2015
When I first saw this advertised, I.
thought it was going to be preachy and one of those films that commercially sells religion. I could not have been more wrong. Indeed, this is a true story about faith, and it does involve a minister's family, but it is a fascinating and uplifting story. At times it feels a little soapy, but it goes away when you become involved in their story. No spoilers here, but this is a worthwhile trip to the movies for the whole family. You may need a hanky, though.
