Review of Heaven Is for Real (2014) by Sawyer W — 04 Jul 2015
This is the funniest film I have seen in a long time! A classic comedy. I made an account just to write this review. My girlfriend and I decided to watch this on a whim, and we were not disappointed. Laughs the whole way.
EVERYONE in this little town is an atheist apparently, Even though they go to church, they all came to an agreement some how, that this heaven thing, is nonsense, and a myth or fairy tail. This kid does a wonderful act of cold reading at 4 years old, as everyone around him fills in the blanks. The father becomes lost in his delusions on the boarder of incarceration. Times are "tough" in their cozy little mansion and 50,000 acres. They apparently can go out to eat 50 times a day even though they owe about $50,000 in hospital bills. You will be laughing your ass off as this man has four jobs apparently, and no medical insurance. His wife later becomes concerned that she may need to get a job to help pay the bills for their mansion.
Feel amazed as this movie struggles to reach a 90min run time with scenes that go absolutely no where, and scenes that make you think, "come on, there's suspension of disbelief and then there is just plain crap we made up.".
Watch this movie if you want to be crying with laughter.
