I think this to me may well be the strongest of the trilogy, the first from the point of view of a Vietnamese national. Haing S. Ngor puts in a truley great performance following her over a large period of time containing some of the most harrowing experince possible.
Tommy Lee Jones offers up a good performance in an extended cameo but I feel somewhat he isn't right forthe role.
