Mean Girls is basically a really watered-down version of this twisted classic. The movie that supposedly inspired John Hughes to quit teen movies, Heathers is the kind of black, sick, subversive and intelligent comedy that they just don't make anymore.
A hilarious dark fantasy for any high school outsider, or anyone who sees high school for the BS it is. Few films have gotten that message across more clearly.
