Review of Heathers (1989) by Peter F — 03 Oct 2011
If it's not the anti-thesis to 80s teen flicks, than it certainly is the darkest one. Gleefully telling a story about teenage murderers, Heathers is both suspenseful and surprisingly relatable. It's not devoid of the genre's cliches though, even if it's able to transcend many of them, but it's immensely watchable and rather overlooked.
A must see for people that wanted to see John Hughes direct a horror film.
