Review of Heat (1995) by Stefan K — 20 May 2015
Badass, Heat is one of the finest bank heist movies ever. Directed by the highly stylish Michael Mann, Heat packs a fresh punch with action sequences with it's exhilarating shoot out. As well as the greatest stand off between acting superstar Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.
One can also admire Mann's return to applying his own 80s auteur touch which audiences would have seen in Manhunter and Thief.
