Review of Heat (1995) by Showbizjunkie — 21 May 2015
Heat is an essential crime thriller classic. Pacino and De Niro spend merely 10 minutes onscreen together, but they convey such powerful performances together. Nearly 3 hours long, this movie feels half that length.
It goes by in the blink of an eye. The two lead actors are at the top of their game in this movie. Kudos to Michael Mann for making such a great movie. The coffee shop scene alone sold me on this movie, even though the rest is fantastic as well.
