Review of Heat (1995) by Jasonbowden1000 — 25 Oct 2013
The frying pan and the fire. When to sacrifice, when to cut bait. Detached professionalism versus personal values. Delayed gratification; now or never. Loyalty and selling out. Heat is a crime drama exploring the many-sided nature of commitment.
Very slick appearance, meticulous action scenes that build tension through pace, dialogue that accomplishes much with very little. An excellent film, and it's stacked with acting talent from top to bottom.
