This movie wasn't good, it was great. Imagine you crossed Al Pacino and Robert De Niro and then crossed them both over several 90's classics set in Los Angeles who are all starring as gangsters? You can nearly imagine the vision of tons of cool cars, robbery, guns, a few girls, those 90's streets and all those actors crammed into one.

Anyway the story starts is simply about two rivals, one named Neil McCauley who is a specialized thief in big risky jobs such as banks and armored cars. He's bright and vows never to get into a relationship.

The other is Vincent Hanna who is an L.A.P.D. detective determined to catch Neil and place him behind the bars while he's already struggling with his third wife and his step daughter after being divorced twice.

So yeah the story is basically one chasing the other pretty much the whole movie. There's no problem with that right? But It does get way more interesting when you bring in more actors into the violence The characters are interesting, the story is solid and badass, the film itself is great.

with it's great casting and brilliant storytelling. Heat gets a 10/10.
