Review of Heat (1995) by Tim K — 10 Jun 2012
A guy told me one time, "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner.".
An amazing film! The acting was phenomenal and almost perfect, everything about it was tremendous, the action sequences were amazing and the character development was flawless. The film was beautiful and I have no complaints about it, to me there is nothing wrong with this movie. The dialogue in the film was amazing and the writers did great. Michael Mann is an amazing director, I think this is my first time hearing about him and I will be definitely be watching his other films because this is an Epic Classic film just how I expected it to be. Al Pacino and Robert De Niro were a great fit for this amazing movie and I would like to see more of them together. Now Val Kilmer redeemed himself for me because I hated him as Batman, but in this he gave it all. Even all the actors gave it all and each actor had a powerhouse performance. The gunfight scenes are thrilling and suspenseful and it will keep you at the edge of your seat throughout. The bankrobbing scene was amazing and probably one of the best bank robbery scenes I have ever seen. Overall the action was exciting, the acting was almost perfect, and the movie was just beautiful.
