Damn! Michael Mann really did his homework here. After having been a cop for 17 years and a movie buff all my life, I'd have to say this is the most authentic looking gun fight in movie history. It really captured the true chaos when the crap hits the fan on the street.
It was very spontaneous and real to life. Probably the best cops and robbers film of all time.
