For a film that runs almost 3 hours it is EXPERTLY paced and incredibly well directed. Even if the character development is slim the performances from everyone in this massive fucking cast delivers. Mann gives every single cast member a moment to shine in this two hour and fifty minute masterpiece.
Also, Waingro might be one of the most underrated villains in any film.
