Heat is the greatest crime movie ever made. It's about men at work and the complications that loom over their always-present dedication. It will be a feat for any future director, Mann himself, to make a crime drama that exceeds the narrative, action and compassion that this movie holds.
It is within realms of the greatest movies of all time.
