Review of Heat (1995) by C J — 16 Sep 2017
Good but not as good as the ratings make it seem. Extremely unrealistic shoot out scene mid movie. Entertaining but cops blasting machine guns across city streets with pedestrians everywhere? Nope. Also Val Kilmer is kind of creepy.
Not sure what else to call him. And why does Amy (yes Judging Amy, that one) just stare all the time? Her and Val should have gotten together. Maybe it was a weird 90's thing, like a holdover from an 80's music video.
The interplay between DeNiro and Pacino was good, and if you've somehow missed this movie in the last 22 years like I did, I'll leave you in suspense as to who wins.
