Painful to watch. Coppola talks about wanting to kill himself while Dennis Hopper forgets his lines and the Filipino army calls away his helicopters in the middle of a shot. You may question the value or the necessity of the sacrifices made by Coppola and his crew but damn if I don't have even more respect for the man and his movie.
