Review of Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse (1991) by Mark P — 04 Aug 2008
Probably the best documentry on filmmaking I've ever seen. We watch Francis Ford Coppola sink into depression and fear as the production of "Apocalypse Now" drags on and on in the jungle.
Sure, it doesn't make filmmaking look "fun," but it does show the power of creative vision and trusting the process.
Always enjoy watching it.
