Review of Hearts in Atlantis (2001) by Anthony F — 05 Apr 2008
Strong performances, no least from the children, but too lacking in the supernatural element. Hicks concentrates on the human element and brings sufficient pathos to the screen to make it a coming of age film well worth seeing, but if you're expecting any Stephen King, best looking elsewhere.
