Review of Hearts in Atlantis (2001) by Viktor J — 31 Dec 2009
** (out of four).
Based on the book by Stephen King, "Hearts in Atlantis" is a definite change of pace for the great writer. Maybe too much of one since it is little more than a dull character study that offers very little insight.
After the death of friend, a man (David Morse) travels back to his hometown and begins reminiscing about his youth and especially the days when a interesting and unique border (Anthony Hopkins) came to stay with him and his mother.
