Review of Hearts in Atlantis (2001) by Sanjid P — 19 Aug 2011
Based on a novella (Low Men in Yellow Coats) of Stephen King, this is one of those movies that invoke a sense of nostalgia for our long gone days of childhood and a yearning for those childhood friends who, as we grow older, may be forgotten but will never be replaced. It's a moving tale about the first bicycle, first kiss and befriending with a mysterious stranger who comes from nowhere but turns out as the greatest teacher one can ever wish for.
If you are a fan of King's unconventional classics like The SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION & THE GREEN MILE then it's a must see for you.
