Review of Hearts and Minds (1974) by Trevor M — 06 Jun 2007
Critiques the vietnam war not just as an act of genocide and expression of virulent anti-communism, but as a colonial enterprise; draws the parallel, in a way michael moore failed to do in fahrenheit 9/11, between the fundamental american spirit of liberty, epitomized by our revolution, and the vietnamese (or iraqi, or paelstinian, et all) thirst for freedom from foreign oppression.
