Review of Heartless (2010) by Alex B — 25 May 2010
One of the best British horror films of recent years. That although suffers from some dodgy effects and some fairly mediocre performances. Is a tense smart and engrossing film experience. That has a bold and unique premise, with an important socialist message behind it.
Seamlessly blending together pitch black comedy and brutal and unnerving horror. And is one of the first horror films in a long time, that effectively used jump scares as something other than a cheap gimmick for once.
