Blimey. A genuinely bizarre film that starts out, promisingly, as a cross between 'The Elephant Man' and 'They Live' only to shoot off on a variety of muddled 'be careful what you wish for' tangents.
Throw imaginary friends, lizard-faced hoodies and human sacrifice into the mix and you're left with a film that strives too hard for originality, resulting in an incoherent mess. There's a couple of effective scares and a nice cameo from Eddie Marsan but little else to grip the audience.
Poor.
