Pretty big bellyflop, this. There's no real story - a couple gets married and he cheats and the marriage is over. Just an airing of dirty laundry. Might be forgivable if it was funny but it's not.
A number of annoying directorial decisions in there to compound the floppishness - reminded me of Julie and Julia. Meryl Streep is great. Jack Nicholson is not particularly. 3.6 out of 10.
