Review of Heartbreak Ridge (1986) by Lady D — 15 Jul 2011
There's one thing that made this an enjoyable film: Clint Eastwood. Mario van Peebles and direction choices seemed to want to ruin it, but it is worth fast-forwarding through much of the whining to get to the Clint scenes.
Ironically, it is also Eastwood's directorial debut. Some 25 years afterward, be thankful it was only his first, not among his most notable for direction.
