Review of Heartbreak Ridge (1955) by Shane L — 20 Feb 2007
Different approach to military movies, and I think it works well. Bits of light hearted comedy (Stitch Jones, one in every platoon!!) added to harsher moments (Profiles dead, Gunney, dont let him die) and while not the easiest film to get into it is a cut above most shoot em up films.
