Review of Heartbreak Ridge (1955) by Kamila P — 05 Mar 2010
Ok I can tell you as one of the soldiers that was there, except for two seal teams the marines saw little to no actual combat they walked into perals and grenville uncontested the rest of the fighting was to the south of the island with the 1/75th and 82nd to their credit though the marines provided some very good artilery support but due to the us army's prohibition on the movie industry the marines get the credit!
