Review of Headhunters (2011) by Robert W — 11 Apr 2012
I went into the film with mixed anticipation I am starting to get a bit bored of the Scandinavian Crime genre as it is always so bleak and serious and a bit samey. So what a surprise when I watched this, whilst not as gripping as the Killing or the Girl with the dragon tattoo, it was still terribly entertaining and surprisingly funny with some great acting to.
Roger Brown is the anti hero of the film having to steal art to fund his extravagant lifestyle, whilst at first I was rather hoping for him to have his comeuppance by the end of the film I was rooting for him as I gradually began to sympathise with the character as he does rather go through a tough time.
