Review of Head of State (2003) by Zaidsheikh94 S — 22 Jul 2009
I found this film quite entertaining from beggining to ending with lots of jokes. However, the main problem with the jokes is that they often enter the slapstick region. Some make you smile, some make you laugh out loud, while some actually make you angry at the fact that you are watching such a lame movie.
The worst part of this film is that it introduces comedy to an extremely serious topic which is definitely a dumb idea. I would rather like the opponent of Chris Rock to win who was far more serious and had a proper urge to rightfully lead the country.
And also, Chris Rock wasn't even qualified to be president. There is no proper justification of why he was chosen to be the presidental candidate. There is a justification but it is not good enough to satisfy the viewer.
Chris Rock is definitely not moral and does malpractices to win the elections. The climax had an incredible part and also a terrible part. The incredible part was the speech. Th terrible part was the actual news of Chris Rock being elected as president.
However, this film is definitely entertaining enough if there is no good movie to see.
