Review of He Who Gets Slapped (1924) by Shane B — 15 Apr 2008
The great Lon Chaney doing what he does best - playing a disgraced scientist who, in order do avoid his shame in the scientific community, becomes a circus clown who's act is simply to get repeatedly slapped (hence the title and, strangely, the character's name!).
They certainly don't make 'em like that no more, but Lon made plenty of bizarre gems like this.
