Review of He Was a Quiet Man (2007) by Tyler J — 10 Mar 2008
This was one of the best independant films i've seen in a while. Christian Slater and Elisha Cuthbert both gave amazing and emotional performances. My video store labeled it as "Comedy-Suspense", and although it was quirky at times, I would hardly classify it as a comedy.
It was quite depressing actually. I think it does resemble Fight Club in the way it was filmed, the camera angles, shots, etc...and it was like amelie in that it was whimsical at times, with the talking goldfish and such.
Although sad, I really enjoyed watching this!
